Cooledge Kitchen

Here's the Cooledge Avenue kitchen I'm quite proud of. Note the coffered ceilings and entirely custom built-in seating w/ storage. Don't let the 1920's appearance fool you, this was demo-ed stud to stud, and a 9 sqft cantilevered addition built. Another great collaboration between client, architect, and contractor.

Backyard Stairs

My homeowner wanted stairs down his ivy covered back hill to the creekbed below. I layed it out following the natural topography.

At this point realizing how organic contemporary architecture actually is.

As the lines complement the structure as if original architecture.

 Homeowner very pleased. Success!

We got cover-up plumbing, electric, HVAC, and insulation rough inspections. And drywall has begun.

Not a lot happened this week, except, and I believe because of, St Patty's Day. Here are a few photos. Not a huge turnout- it was Tuesday. Big for the locals though.

Learning about "Tybee Time." My laborer has been 1 hour late every day and not worried about it at all. Plumbers and electricians amble by eventually. But everyone is conscientious and does a good job. Pix are of channel installed underside of (old)sunroom ceiling/roof that'll keep a layer of circulating air between hot decking and insulated, conditioned space below. Also retrofitted hurricane straps.
